{% hint style="warning" %}
KTT will be launched in 2023.

* **Name**: Kolektivo Treasury Token
* **Ticker**: KTT
* **Standard**: ERC-20 on Celo
* **Total supply**: Elastic supply
* **Token address**

## Overview

KTT is an elastic supply token whose supply maintains a 1:1 relationship with Kolektivo Network Treasury’s value. KTT is used to bootstrap local reserves and their corresponding community economies. An atomic operation called rebase will adjust the supply accordingly to the supply policy. For example, if there are $100m worth of assets in the Treasury, and KTT aims to be priced at $1, then its supply will change to 100m.

## Utilities

Ultimately, KTT helps maintain the value of natural assets and community currencies within Kolektivo's Network ecosystem. When assets are collected by the Network via fees or other revenue-sharing mechanisms, they can either be (A) liquidated or (B) endogenously repurposed. KTT serves the function of (B) by collapsing a high diversity of assets into a single collateral that can be deposited into any local Reserve.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://kolektivo.gitbook.io/kolektivo-docs/tools/framework-tokens/treasury-token.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
